Armonicadance

Armonicadance is an original and innovative project featuring a veteran of the Afro-American rural music scene: Andreino Cocco, one of the fathers of blues harmonica in Italy, on the scene since 1979 with the duo "Cocco & Bisson," who has collaborated with Valerie Wellington, Charlie Musselwhite, Louisiana Red, Corey Harris, Big Jack Johnson, Giorgio Cavalli, Paul Venturi and many other artists performing at the most important blues festivals in Italy and Europe.

Andreino Cocco's harmonica, howls and original percussion are joined by Gianluca Caselli (synthesizer and programming), himself a harmonica player, composer and electronic music enthusiast, founder of the Armonauts Harmonica Trio with whom he has performed at several international festivals dedicated to harmonica.

A music for all ages, which finds new life in technologies using voice samples of the great bluesmen of the past, from which to develop new songs in which the duo experiments with the contamination between the pure and raw sound of Cocco's harmonica with the new sounds offered by samplers and electronics. All music is born from improvisation and the development of a rhythmic idea; this is what led to the name of the album "Armonicadance - Electroblues," just released by Bloos Records.
