D'es Tro is a circus company created in Majorca in July 2019 and formed by Guillem Vizcaíno, with a strong desire to discover a new and own language and to experiment with new forms of staging.

Guillem Vizcaíno, in his 20-year career as a juggler and manipulator of objects, has worked with and researched all the classical elements of circus: balls, masses, unicycles, throwing knives, among others.
These objects have been the elements used in his creations along with the combination of new languages and mixing with other disciplines. 

Similarly, with D'es Tro he has devoted himself to research into the manipulation of new materials such as spinning tops. He is currently the world champion freestyle manipulator. In October 2020, he participated in the World Spintop Contest (World Spintop Championship), taking first place among a hundred players from 22 countries. In the course of his career, he created the circus company Atirofijo Circ together with Mari Paz Arango, with whom they discovered a great stage complicity that led them on a journey together: Atirofijo Circ, a circus company created in Mallorca in December 2015 A s 'Ombra and Cabaret Extravagant are some examples of the shows that Atirofijo Circ has performed so far. 

Poi is the story of a rural man trapped since childhood by the gyroscopic effect of his spinning top. A journey of twists and turns that transports us to the game, one of the most important states of life". Fusing the circus arts with the popular game of the spinning top and the roots of Mediterranean culture is the main objective of this contemporary show. 

The spinning top is a magical and ancestral game with hypnotic spins that have more than six thousand years of history. This toy, on its way to extinction, is capable of stopping time, as the simple act of observing, spinning the element allows us to isolate ourselves from the speed that governs our daily lives. POI responds to a physical search of juggling and manipulation of the object, but also to an artisanal research regarding the construction of the scenography and spinning tops that Guillem Vizcaíno himself has designed and built. This exploration of different types of wood, shapes and support tips has allowed him to create personal and special spinning tops, such as one of the largest spinning tops in the world, weighing 45 kg, which he himself throws with a rope of more than 15 metres.
