Angela Delfini

Graduated in teatrodanza from Paolo Grassi, Angela Delfini works with choreographers including Susanne Linke. Decides to delve into the "moving architecture" of classical dance with Prisca Picano and at the same time, studies the Lecoq method with master Kuniaki Ida. 

Actress/dancer in Italy, particularly with Marcielʼs Cinema-Theater "The Colors of Life" and as creator of her shows, "Festina Lente" and "Viva il Uorcsciopp: a silly digression on the different ways of imagining theater." 

In France, she continues work with the Ploum Company and other film directors. He studied at the American Academy Of Dramatic Arts in NY and graduated from the Nouveau Clown Institute in Barcelona where he began collaborating with Jango Edwards and other artists from different countries around the world and space. 

Clowning begins with a collaboration with De Stijle Want at Tutti Matti per Colorno. In 2013 he presents Rain Tomatoes in Mantua. In 2014 she graduates from The Very Physical Comedy Institute (U.S.A.) and presents "Angela Delfini Explains It All for You" created with John Towsen in NY. In 2015 she is with the Theatre of the Robin for "Le cirque des Femmes"; co-founder with John Towsen of the NY Physical Comedy Lab and in Portugal, in the Semana dos Palaçhos, she presents "Everything in a Breath," a street show still on the road. In 2016 "Angela Delfini Te Lo Explica Todo" is at the Very Important Women festival in Barcelona. In 2017 Angela Delfini Explains It All for You is at the Toronto Festival of Clowns and Magda Clan Circus with the Italian premiere of "Angela Delfini Explains How It Works. Everything!"

Her interest in pedagogy and directing take more and more substance in workshops and collaborations with other artists: since 2016 she has been teaching clowns in the Musica Insieme outfit in Tuscany. In 2018 he is in ESCHE: circus Fresh Day with the Magda Clan circus. This is followed by Angela Delfini's American tour Explains It All for You: from East to West she performs in various circus venues, theaters and gives workshops at prestigious universities. (Baltimore, New York, St.Louis, Chicago, Aurora, Colorado Springs, Alamosa, Las Vegas, Claremont, Los Angeles, Camarillo, Santa Barbara, San Francisco). Since 2019 Angela Delfini Explains Everything is at Mon Circo, Open Festival and, Art.9, Circo Madera. She collaborates with the Nouveau Clown Institute as a mobility trainer. Together with Alessio Tamburini they are the DUO THE FICIENTI Show. With the Pandorama association she organizes the Alfred Clown Festival.(TO) She collaborates with MU ETS in several cultural projects (SR) In 2023 she wins the audience award and the Takimiri award at the Clown&Clown Festival (MC) In 2024 she is artistic director of the first clown festival in Porto Mantovano (MN). She is part of the Clown Option table (NA) where she will present the SmileClownFestival contest. She holds clown workshops in Turin. Constant is curiosity and study with different clown masters and performances of the three different shows.
